My Prodigi review is based on my first order experience.
I will continue to use Prodigi despite some issues with this initial experience. I will be in touch with them to improve the process. Like how to ensure EU orders are sent from within the EU.
Why I chose Prodigi
I wanted a printing partner that prints in the EU, and I liked the look of their website. I was open to exploring other options including Gelato and Printify. See more in this article.
My Prodigi review of my sample order
Prodigi has an option for sample orders so you can see what products you’re selling.
The process is:
- Create a manual order from the Prodigi dashboard
- Recreate each of the designs you want to sample – you can’t use the designs in any sales channel
- There is 50% off the first “product” so base-type, not to do with your design
- There is no discount on shipping
- Discount is automatically deducted and refunded
I created the order on 27 July 2025.
There were prints, mugs, clothes in the order.
I am based in Spain, in the EU, so I ordered products that had EU printers.
I ordered one product that I knew was shipped from the UK to see what would happen with customs.
It ended up with 6 shipments from different printers. Two of which were in the UK with corresponding high shipping costs.
Note that I MADE AN ERROR or something happened in the ordering process and the flat number was not included in the postal address which caused delays with some of the shipments.
All products were printed and sent within days of the order.

Mug from the UK supplier. I think it came out almost perfect.
A friend thinks the letters aren’t as crisp as the others though.
Mug #1 from Swedish printer. I’m not sure if it’s me being too nitpicky but there is a bigger white space at the bottom than the top. And around the handle, the whitespace is uneven.
#2 from Swedish printer. Came out great but the spacing around the handle is uneven but in the opposite way from #1. I’m sure these were both centered in the design. The designs are hand placed before they are set onto the mug so this can happen. Maybe it doesn’t really matter?
#3 from the Swedish printer. This is cut off at the top and the bottom and each edge. The colour is a little off too. I’m not sure how close the design can go towards the handle. I will be in touch with Prodigi about this.

I blame my inexperience, but without guidance on how to create a sticker, both products that arrived are essentially misprints based on my design. The design was letters on a white background. I thought that it would come as a square that was one sticker that features the design. Instead, each of the letters has been stamped out… live and learn I guess. Quality was good though.
